Description:

The work is centered around a deep, atmospheric ground of midnight blue and near-black, which dominates the canvas and evokes the darkness of urban night or deep shadow. Cutting through this gloom are aggressive, fast-moving strokes of mustard yellow and bright chrome yellow, suggestive of headlights, streetlights, or illuminated signage.
