An Exit that leads inward

Medium:
acrylic, color pencils, & gouache on paper

Dimensions:
9" x 12" x 0.1"

Year Completed:
2026

Description:
A distorted interior opens into a deep blue passageway, where architectural perspective collides with fragmented figuration, coded marks, and an abstract tree spreading across the ceiling. A backward EXIT sign suggests a route that cannot be followed normally, while a partially obscured face hovers at the edge of the corridor. The painting turns space into a psychological landscape, exploring disorientation, memory, perception, and the uneasy desire to escape.
